What the plugin handles
Order-specific crypto quotes, payment instructions, QR display, transaction submission, asset and recipient checks, amount tolerance, confirmation monitoring and WooCommerce order completion.
What remains with the merchant
Wallet security, network and token configuration, accounting, taxation, regulatory obligations and any blockchain refund. The plugin does not custody, exchange or return funds.
How it works
The customer stays within the normal WooCommerce order journey while payment is verified from public blockchain data.
Configure your wallet
Add an Etherscan API key, choose Live or Sepolia test mode, then enable the assets and receiving addresses you want to accept.
Customer sends payment
At Classic Checkout, the customer selects an enabled asset and receives an exact quoted amount, payment window, QR code and copyable receiving address.
The order is verified
The customer submits the transaction hash. Sovereign Settle verifies the transaction and completes the order after the required confirmations are reached.
Verification is tied to the order
A transaction must match the selected payment route and cannot be reused for another WooCommerce order.

Payment instructions and confirmation status appear in the standard order-received and customer order endpoints, including return-to-payment support.
Optional stablecoin discount
Offer a percentage discount when the customer selects the gateway. The discounted WooCommerce total is reflected in the quoted crypto amount.

Frequently asked questions
Does Sovereign Settle hold customer funds?
No. Payment is sent directly to the receiving wallet configured for the selected asset.
Does the plugin exchange stablecoins for fiat?
No. It verifies the configured blockchain payment and updates the WooCommerce order. It does not provide exchange, banking or payout services.
Can it refund a blockchain payment?
No. WooCommerce can record the commercial refund, but the merchant must independently verify the destination and send any crypto return from their own wallet.
What happens if the transaction does not match?
Wrong-token, recipient, amount, network, failed or expired-payment states are not automatically completed. The order remains available for merchant review according to the gateway’s terminal-state handling.
Why is an order still waiting?
Confirm the transaction used the selected network and asset, reached the configured wallet, meets the amount tolerance and has enough confirmations. Also check the Etherscan API key and scheduled-action processing.

Does what it says and looks nice in checkout, cust have to paste their tx id which is not great but it works would be better if they can paste after order?
