Frequently asked questions
Does CCM replace the LearnDash certificate editor?
No. Continue designing and assigning native LearnDash certificates normally. CCM adds issuance-aware shortcodes, durable records, verification and reporting around that workflow.
What happens when the trial or licence ends?
New CCM issuance pauses when no entitlement remains. Previously issued records, public verification links and reports stay available, including credentials created during the trial.
Can CCM register certificates awarded before installation?
Yes. Historical import scans surviving LearnDash completion records, shows eligible awards for review and preserves their original completion and calculated expiry dates. It does not invent missing or orphaned LearnDash history.
Can a compliance user see every certificate?
Only if an administrator explicitly grants all-record access. Reporting is denied by default and can instead be limited to selected Courses, Quizzes, Groups or managed LearnDash Groups.
Does CCM configure email delivery?
No. CCM sends through WordPress, but your site or hosting provider remains responsible for SMTP or transactional email delivery.
